Luke fon Fabre Age: 18 Occupation: Noble, Swordsmen, Savior, Replica Abilities: One of Luke's most prominent abilities is his ability to create a hyper resonance on his own. A hyper resonance normally requires two people that use the seventh phonon, or sound element, because it needs a collection of seventh phonon to react to each other. Originally, Asch is the only one able to do this, but since Luke is a perfect copy of Asch, he also has the ability. He also has a wide variety of Artes that he can perform with the the help of his sword. He's very skilled with his sword, considering all of the time he spent with Van.
While in Nuadoria, his hyper-resonance and Artes would become severely weakened due to the lack of any phonon in this world. He would still keep his ability to fight though.

Light of the Sacred Flame Luke is the son of the Duke Crimson Herzog fon Fabre and Suzanne fon Fabre. When we first meet Luke, we discover a bratty, spoiled noble boy who has amnesia due to an event seven years prior to the start of the game. He knows nothing of the world, because after he was kidnapped, his parents and uncle (who is the king of Kimlasca-Lanvelder) decided to keep him completely confined to the manor. His only real friend in place was a man named Guy, one of the servants in the household. He also received training from Van Grants, commodore of the God Generals, guards of the Fon Master, whom he looks up to and has always believed in.
One day, Luke is taken away from the safe walls of his home by a complete accident. Tear Grants, while trying to kill her brother, caused a hyperresonance with Luke and spirited them both away to enemy territory. Luke begins his journey here, traveling with Tear, learning how the real world works (such as needing to buy food before eating) and meeting new people. Such as the Fon Master Ion, leader of the Order of Lorelai, Colonel Jade Curtiss, Anise, and many others.
As stated before, Luke was a very selfish person. He constantly complained about his situation, and on multiple occasions contradicted himself, not only frustrating himself, but those around him. Many of his comrades dislike his attitude, but he refused to change. Especially after he discovers the prophecy set forth by the Score. It says he is to be a hero that will save everything. His ego and obnoxious attitude increase and everyone becomes sick of him. Until he discovered something that would turn his life around.
When trying to rescue Ion from enemy forces, Luke came in contact with a man with identical features. Green eyes, long, red hair, the same build and facial features. The man's name was Asch and from that point on Luke's life turned upside-down. He had no idea why there was someone who looked exactly like him, and in the God Generals no less.
He had to push on. Even with Asch able to talk to him in his head and control his body sometimes. It made those around him trust him even less, and cause the tensions to rise more. They had to continue though. Luke was the good will ambassador, sent to fix a mine called Akzeriuth that was in terrible shape. Since he was the expected savior, he was the perfect candidate.
At Akzeriuth, Luke's long time mentor and confidant, Van, betrayed them all. He used Luke and his mysterious ability to create a hyperresonance on his own to utterly destroy Akzeriuth. Van informed Luke that he was only a clone of Asch, a puppet to be used for his own devices. That everything Luke knew was a lie, and the reason he didn't remember anything, was because he never truly knew anything. Asch had been trying to stop him from following Van's orders, but since he was apart of the God Generals, Luke had never given him a chance. The fact that Luke followed him so blindly and allowed it to happen tortured him and he blamed himself for all of the deaths at Akzeriuth. He moped and whined of his mistake, seeking pity and comfort. Those around him had had enough of his selfish behavior and agreed with him. It was his fault this time. Even his best friend left him to deal with the situation on his own.
In the Qliphoth (the world underneath the outer lands that's filled with a deadly substance called miasma) at Yulia City, Luke fought with Asch before passing out. While he was out, everyone went their separate ways and because he was a perfect copy of Asch, his conscience was stuck to Asch's, and he was able to watch everything happen through his eyes.
Asch had managed to help all of them out of the Qliphoth, Luke following along the whole time, listening to those that he had traveled with go on their lives without them. It struck him; it really was his fault, and he had been extremely selfish throughout their travels. The world did not revolve around him. He regretted what had happened. Finally, near the end of his time latched onto Asch, Guy admitted he was worried about Luke, and that he wanted to check on him while Asch and the others went on.
Asch cut off the connection between them, and Luke woke up. He talked to Tear out in a small garden area, saying how Asch said another city was in danger. Tear replied coldly, telling him that's all he ever did, listen to other people, and that's what got him in trouble in the first place. He agreed, making the decision to change. He used one of Tear's knives, and cut his hair, making the promise to Tear to change for the better; to make his own decisions and take responsibility for his actions.
